So, one of the items on my bucket list is to have a birthday (September 30th) in another country. I know it’s almost a year away but I’m a huge planner. So, here are 5 choices I have already (in alphabetical order), any others I should consider? Also, I’d be a SOLO TRAVELER. I love traveling solo:

  1. Amsterdam

  2. I’ve passed through the airport a few times on my way to Africa and it’s beautiful from the air and I’ve heard there’s tons of neat things to do.
  1. Brazil

The beauty of this country is unparalleled. Not to mention the cuisine, and the culture. I’ll just have to dust off my dancing shoes. 😉

  1. Czech Republic

The homeland of my paternal grandmother. Always have wanted to visit because of the architecture, artistic nature of the people, and history. This one is contingent on the situation in Eastern Europe. Maybe I’d replace it with a Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or even Turkey.

  1. Ireland/N. Ireland
  2. The majority of my ancestry is from here. I’d probably spend a majority of the trip in Ireland and take a 24 hr trip to Belfast.

  1. Mexico

It’s just SO close that I don’t know how I HAVEN’T visited. Again, like Brazil, the culture, food, etc.

So, any of you world travelers want to give me your input?

Amsterdam, party central. Ireland is fun & beautiful (biased as I grew up there) but my money would be on Brazil from this list.  I’ve never been but I’ve heard it’s amazing & I’ve met so many great people from there over the years.  SG has only made me want to go more as there are so many amazing models & photographers here from there

@skisby so, most of my dad’s side is Irish. Our surname used to be “More”. During one of the Norman invasions my family ambushed them and according to eye witnesses “mowed them down like blades of grass” using farm/harvesting implements. We then changed our name to “Mower” pronounced like “lawn mower”.
