Ok, time for something lighter Thanks again to all who commented.

This sunday, I start my first week of being captain of a pool team. I was rather surprised that I volunteered, as I am usually the guy who just likes to let others make the unimportant decisions on things like this. Anyway, the job gets broken down like this:

1: Recieve paperwork each week
2: Make sure to remember paperwork each week
3: Collect $6 per player each time they play, and mail a check for $30 each week (saves on going to the ATM).
4: Sign the paperwork
5: Mail the paperwork

Most team captains are also the team coach, but I'm nowhere good enough to do that. And, for the most part, I don't think anybody on the team will need much coaching. If we do, there are better players than I onboard.

We started this new team because we wanted a more relaxed group. The previous team had several members who were overwhelmed with competative spirit and that sucked a lot of the fun out of it. We're just there to enjoy the game, and win or lose, have fun.
