I slept with an agate stone in my pillow case last night.
My dreams were of my former loves. They were all at least friendly toward me. Kat in a diner, Carol in a park, Holly in a high school cafeteria. None of the places were anywhere I'd actually been.
Today I passed Carol in the hall at work. She is still cold to me, as I still am to her. This that follows is inspired by the former events.
Pisces Resolve
My eyes no longer turn toward you
To see your action as I pass by
I no longer care
I no longer hesitate
When you pass somewhere before me
But I notice that you still do
I no longer care
If you stare at the ground
Or make a sound between closed teeth
As I pass you by
I no longer care
You're not my problem anymore
I've wash my hands clean
And the dreams come less frequent now
I no longer care
But I admit, though the wound no longer pains
The scar still remains
And I am unafraid to be wounded again
