For some reason, whenever I go on vacation to somewhere, it seems that things happen back at home while I'm away. It's like a time warp thing. It's as if wherever I am at for some moment, time goes at regular speed, but time everywhere else goes at an accelerated pace, an Einsteinian law of relativity. Nothing much ever happens at home but the time when I'm away is the time everything happens. Two days ago I told a friend this theory and he was like nope, sorry, nothing going on here. A day later, a guy who works two rows down from him at work killed his girlfriend with a samurai sword, went to work, then turned himself in to the police. surreal

Yesterday I purchased a copy of Bizarre magazine (my favorite magazine) and saw a picture of two cute baby pigs, one pink and the other... yellow. The caption says: "NT2 - that's him on the left by the way - was genetically modified to make his snout and trotters glow in the dark. Scientists at the University of Missouri created the look by injecting the genes of a jellyfish." surreal

This is my kind of vacation!... On Monday, in Washington, DC, I visited the Smithsonian's Museum of Natural History, the National Gallery of Art, walked by Congress, and took a guided tour of the Library of Congress. On Tuesday, it was the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and I took a dump in the Holocaust Museum. On Wednesday, I took it easy, having been exhausted from walking 25 miles over the previous two days and saw the movie Wedding Crashers. On Thursday, I went to Baltimore for the day (five more miles of walking). Today, I'm not feeling well and I decided to skip out on the National Zoo (which is 163 acresthat's too much walking). Tomorrow, I fly home and will be instantly enroute to my soon-to-be brother-in-law's bachelor party.

And I've decided to become a SuicideBoy. Now if I'll just find someone to photograph me...

And that's it for now.
