I will be traveling up to Baltimore and Washington, DC, in late July for job testing and, simultaneously, a vacation. A few months ago I applied with the Transportation Security Administration for the position of airport security screener in either Boston or Baltimore. I passed the eligibility requirements and so now I am going onward to the testing phase. What an amazing coincidence; for four or five months now I've been hoping to take a vacation to DC at the end of July, and what do you know but the latest I can get tested is late July. It all works out perfectly. Spend a few days in DC, visiting the Smithsonian and vomitting on its doorsteps for displaying a presentation on Intelligent Design, looking around the monuments, maybe do some partying. And then go up to Baltimore for a day. I have a good friend up in DC, so no paying for hotel rooms, just plane tickets, rental car, food, and booooooze.

Favorite song at the moment
Say Hello by Deep Dish

tricky time never slows
that moment walked me by without bothering to say

lucky time never stops
that moment knocked me down without bothering to say hello

(Repeat several times)

The song is absolutely beautiful to listen to and is a stroke of genius.
