I graduated college after six and a half years. While I know it's a hard-earned achievement to be proud of and something worthy of congratulations, it seems that people are more excited than I am.
Me: I graduated.
People: Oooh yaaay! Good for you!
Me: Yeah.
Also, in retrospect, the college experience was weird: the first four years were marked with excitement, vigor; followed by...

House music is classical music: Why?
Something I realized some time ago but have never been able to satisfactorily articulate why is that house music a modern version of classical music; that if we modernized classical music by along with audio samples adding a beat to it, we have house. Beside from the technical standpoint that house music is rooted in regular instruments, house is...

i think you're absolutely right... but, house music also has those distractions during the journey when the vocals or samples don't fit too well. i think a better example of modern day classical is trance... on the dot. trance is the ultimate emotional rollercoaster. personally, i'm not too fond of most trance and prefer hard house beats and florida "funky" breaks. i also agree with you that mixing house is a lot more seamless and can be done with more spunk. anyways, nice definition dude... good read.

These tattoos are quite addicting, are they not. I got a kick ass tattoo of ying yang a few weeks ago, my third overall tattoo. And I have no plans to stop. I think I've spent $570 on tattoos alone. Add into that $45 for two pierced nipples, $40 for a navel piercing I don't have anymore, $40 for a pierced tongue I am without,...

Oh look! I'm evil.
Anyone see any good movies lately? Or humorously bad reality shows? Or any...thing? I've so not had time for a life I miss out on these sort of things.
In one hour of this writing, so for all practical purposes it's ancient history by now, I have an appointment to get a rather objectionable and rather large tattoo of a smoking hot naked chick sitting in a martini glass, with flames in the background. It's quite unbecoming of me.
[Edit, some few hours later: As the tattoo artist said, I have one fucking bad...

I've discovered the wonders of self-hypnosis. It apparently does work, in what ways I'm not exactly sure, to what effects I'm still finding, and to what long-term effects I will weather. It really does seem like your conscious is suppressed, that very institution of which...

I just got my first tattoo, a tribal tattoo on my upper back! Yay me.
(It's so painless, too! It's extremely painful but the pain is so isolated to a thin dot, that it's bearable.)

I've been bussing tables at a nice trendy restaurant for the past eight months, and I just asked to get promoted to serving, and now I am.
Paul Oakenfold on Wednesday, baby!
Met a woman who was on the show Elimidate. How surreal it is to meet someone, in the flesh, you first saw on national television. How surreal it is to know a lot about a complete stranger, to know they work in a lingerie shop and can be a real bitch when angry, before ever talking to them. And then to actually talk to them....
