Aarrghh! Its unbearably hot here!

The temperature is in the 90s . . . and so's the humidity!

If you try to do anything outdoors . . . . you're covered with sweat in less than 5 minutes. Ugh!

I took the bike out for a ride Saturday . . . . and even with all that wind . . I was soaked with sweat.

This hot humid air, just takes your breath away. And not in a good way!

Big article in today's paper . . . . reminding us that most hurricanes, and pretty much all the big ones, come in August, September, and October. Anybody want to get on this ride for the next 90 days?

I didn't realize how hot it was until they took the handcuffs off and opened up the steel doors. It was like "Welcome to hell"...

Period from hell seems to finally be letting up, so that's good. I was looking back at an old argument I had about how great older men were and I seem really defensive and desperate to prove a point. Not so desperate anymore, because I'm sure there a lot of cases it doesn't work out for. More and more it is very clear that our age is not a big factor in the relationship at all.

Anyway, yeah, too many sets to keep up with, tell me about it. I'm so glad to hear about your new bike! What color is it? What year? I'm dying to ride my bicycle for 100 miles, but I'm out of shape because I broke a rib mountain biking about a month ago and it still isn't 100% healed, and I had to stay off of long rides until last week or so. Plus then monster period took away so much blood I- once again- couldn't ride for lack of blood and heavy breathing.

I'm back on track now though, and today is my day off from work. I have a lot of housework and a good ride to get in.
