Well, my father is finally out of surgery and was moved to his room about an hour ago. According to the surgeon everything went as expected. He has some light hemorrhaging that needs to get under control and hes having some nasty side-affects from the spinal anesthetic but other than that he is doing well.
He is going to be in the hospital for at least another 4 days, probably longer. Im just glad its over. Cant say as Im looking forward to my turn as this problem is hereditary and is commonly passed from fathers to sons. Whoopee!
Going to get a couple hours rest then head back to the hospital until visiting hours are over. I want to thank all of you who sent good thoughts and well wishes again. I know that they helped today, I just know it.
