So hope the start to this newyear isn't an indication of anything to come. Bizzare things thus far.

The worst of which is that my great-uncle and godfather suddenly stopped breathing the other day, and has been on life support. It doesn't look good.

I'll honestly say there aren't a lot of guys in this world that I think deserve much respect in the least... but he was certainly one of them. I'd say he and my grandfather were some of my only rolemodels growing up... and they are both gone now. This leaves me here to try to be an example for others, and continue on my own road, I suppose.

Strange things, especially since I had a dream of talking to him last night. He told me it was my turn now, and that he loved me and basically we said our goodbyes. Then, today I woke up to hear out of the blue that he stopped breathing. Ofcourse, I was coping with a hangover, and have been entertaining friends visiting me from Scotland also. My thoughts are all over the place currently, I think I'll just get some sleep.

To Leon Brown, someone who I really feel did things his way... the world is certainly a worse place with one less person of your stature in it. You are loved and will be missed...
