Gee, I only thought Florida was worthy of being blown off the map, but it looks like Houston (my hometown) is placing itself within my missile range. Kenneth Lay was immediately forgiven by the business and socialite elite in Houston, and now it looks like his heart attack was such sad news to many Houstonian Christian nuts. I also do not revel in the deaths of evil shitbags because it's not my place to engage in that type of blood lust. I don't want George Bush, for example, to be killed so much as to be sodomized by some very angry Silverback gorillas. Again and again and again. And then some more. But geez, going to church shouldn't exonerate anybody from the guilt of ruining thousands of hard-working people's lives and livelihoods by being a greedy, thieveing bastard. Look at what just a couple douche bags are feeling about Kenneth Lay's death (courtesy of The Houston Chronicle's letter section):

Facing higher court

I am ashamed of what I've been hearing on the radio and TV. Those who are "dissatisfied" because Ken Lay died are crude and unprincipled. I, too, lost money on Enron, but I do not feel that I need to speak ill of the dead in order to assuage my feelings.

You who are so unhappy that you won't get to see Lay "doing time" should remember that there is a higher power than our justice system. Lay is now facing the ultimate judge one that knows truth and doesn't care about politics or personal gain.

And so what if they don't get to see Lay punished? The way our court system plays politics, can they even be sure Lay was guilty? (!!!!!!!!:madsmile

ROBERT MORGAN Houston

>>Well, Robert Morgan, it looks like you've got it all figured out. Rob 'em all, and let God deal with it? Oh, but Kenny's probably not even culpable! Let's take a look at another letter, shall we?

His lasting legacy

Regardless what others may think, I believe Ken Lay's true legacy will be that he was a man who loved God, his family and his community. I pray that his family will find peace during this tragic time.

JEFFREY F. SMITH Houston

>> Well, I think you're a moron, Jeffrey, and I want no part of a God who loves and forgives a man who never showed any remorse for those he bilked out of their life's savings, except to cry over the fact that he got caught and was going to get in trouble.

Bahhhhhhhh!

He shouldn't have done it, but it did look as though the Italian player took a dive.
