Oh god,
I am so looking forward to sleeping for the next 3 nights. I have a lot of sleep to make up. I have gotten a lot done though! I finally have an apartment and a lot more is underway.

If anyone from the DC area wants to hang out before I move, let me know now. I move on Oct. 1st.

I made healthier-than-usual brownies yesterday (dairy-free, with no refined sugar and just natural sweeteners and vegetable oils). and surprisingly they still turned out pretty good!

Next on the baking list: key lime coconut pie, and raspberry-blueberry-blackberry pie.

My mom is one of my best friends. So is my boyfriend. I am really lucky that way.

I get along with both of them like 95% of the time. Except when I haven't slept and they are being cruel to me.

Then I get mad.

Then they both do it in the same 48 hours and I get manic.

And yes, it did smell kind of shower-curtainy. I'm pretty sure that it's potentially toxic. But I didn't know that when I bought it, and now it's too late because I'll be goddamned if I'll give that up. blush

So, to warn you: you may find yourself hopelessly addicted to a toxic toy. I apologize. It's just so much fun, though. I've actually considered looking into whether there's a way to make a mold of it and then somehow cast a silicone version, just because I enjoy it that much.

Anyway, yeah, it did smell like that.
