Has anyone else been having difficulty looking at sets? Every time I've tried to do so in the past week or so, either the window it opens is of the main side, or I get a message saying "album cannot be loaded". Why does it seem like every time they change the layout of the site, it goes downhill? Sigh.

I had a good weekend in the DC area. I went down for my mom's birthday. I went to dinner with her and my sister, baked lemon berry pie for her birthday. It turned out great! I need to make that for myself sometime. And when key limes are in season, I am plotting a key lime raspberry pie.

I also got a chance to see my friend Helen and her boyfriend, Patrick, and it was a good time chilling at her place. I made her broccoli mushroom quiche and a side dish of spinach, asparagus, raisin, pine nut, and cheese cooked and mixed together. Helen is the most adorable girl I'm friends with. I mean, I'm friends with lots of pretty girls. But Helen is 5'0" and about a hundred pounds, and you can pick her up and swing her around! I love that. Plus she has auburn hair that goes all the way down her back.
Sleeping in the same bed with them was, well... it wound up being lots of fun.
