No excuses!

The black and white pic is my baby. My baby is the almost fully grown teenager. The other baby in the pic belongs to a friend of mine and she (the baby) worships my son and follows him around. He in turn, worships her and entertained her for hours on the day the picture was taken, which was a lovely thing to watch.
My baby has a girlfriend. She belongs to a revivalist church (what is that?) and they put on WEIRD plays in a hall in the middle of nowhere. He showed me the playbill for one and it read: "Are you afraid of Mr Bush? Mr Putin? Mr Howard? Well fear no more!!" and had a cartoonish picture of kid crouched under a school desk with his fingers plugging his ears and a nuclear mushroom cloud outside the schoolroom window 
In other news: hot, tired. Worried about the total abscence of rain and Autumn.
I really need the cold weather and the cycle of the seasons. I want to see autumn colours on European trees, flowers on the native plants, creeks running, frosted lawns in the morning and toadstool rings. I want nights so cold and black that you can't move your fingers. I want my parka to come out of retirement.
A few weeks ago I was watering my pot plants and I noticed a strange and horrible thing...everytime I walked away to re-fill my watering can, little birds that had been sitting on my fence watching with open beaks and sad eyes would rush toward the ground for the water draining out of the pots. It was like some kind of little birdie holocaust.
I love Lady Summer, but it's time for her to get off the cat walk and let Lady Autumn do her twirl.

What a shame you threw out all of your skulls! I dont think its morbid at all..but it will be fun collecting more..I haven't thought about mummifying sea creatures..hmm..unfortunately I only have two skulls..I dont go out into the bush enough!

Hmm I have been trying to avoid ebay as I have no money but bidding on things doesn't actually feel like you are spending anything..hmm
New house is exciting (well except the actual moving bit)..yah I think small houses are nice (I dont like cleaning much either)..planning a garden from scratch would be fun too..I haven't had that opportunity..well I have mainly lived in apartments..the one I am in now only has a small balcony..but still I could definately do more with it
Being a hermit over the weekend can be a goodthing, lots of relaxing and doing not much. I am doing a bit of both catching up with people and hanging..well not at home, at my boyfriends geekpat and doing not much at all (eating lots of chocolate eggs)
Make sure you have chocolate for breakfast on Sunday!!
