Yesterday I spent the New Years with my partner and 2 of my best friends, we made a huge delicious breakfast with coffee and fresh fruit and yoghurt, and literally sat around for hours reading and chatting. I didn't even want to go home. Usually I get bored and want to go home and play a video game or go on the computer to fill my mind with some sort of information burst (admittedly when I did get home I spent the rest of the night on the computer trying to catch up on anything I would have normally done).
My point being, a resolution I've been trying to do since last year was be more social comfortably. I love sitting in my room or the computer and that's just fine for me, and it's probably why my partner and me do so well because we have the same separation of playing a video game, or being on the computer and then we miss eachother. But that doesn't work with friends, and it's anti-social. But I'm trying to find a happy middle and still do both. I think I've finally nipped the bad habit.
Now to just work on losing a tinsy bit of weight to get curves in shape. I love being shapely, it makes dressing in vintage clothing very nice. But changing jobs, moving back home and the usual grown up stresses takes it's toll. So I've kept my normal eating habits the same, all good food but too much of it and a slight overdo in the chocolate department, but done almost no physical activity. Besides chasing around kids all day at work! So I've started running, easing into it with Couch 2 5K, and it's doing wonders.
Last resolution, money - we all want it/need it - and I think this year, I'll be spending for the most part of it
