i think a key to happiness is to produce more than you consume. and i mean that in all aspects, wether its physically building something, or building a relationship, or building somebody up emotionally, or creating positive results through your job etc.
just produce more than you consume.
if you feel yourself idly consuming... television, emotions, food, drink... stop for a second and see if you could be building something instead. you'll probably end up more satisfied.
