my brother got robbed downtown last nite. the guy tried to shoot him twice but couldn't. we found out later why. part of his gun fell out. it was in his truck. along with a boot print on one of his school books. the guy also told my brother " a white punk like you sent me to jail for selling drugs when i was younger" so hopefull with a fingerprint on that part of the gun matching someone who went to jail for drugs..they'll find him. who knows. he got all of my brothers money ($400) and his id, birth certificate (why did he have that in his wallet?) and his social security card. so yeah, isn't this the most wonderful time of the year? what with the three staples in his head, lump on his hand (from trying to protect himself from being shot), lump on his jaw (where he jammed the gun while telling him about the good ol' prison days) , two knocked out teeth from having the gun shoved in his mouth, and blood splatter all over his truck from being pistol whipped. it looks like he was killed in there. i was crying really hard on my way to pick him up from the hospital. i didn't think i could cry harder. but i did when i saw him. poor thing. i'm just glad the gun fell apart and he wasn't killed. cos he tried to kill him twice.
today is a bummer.
