I read the first book and part of the second, but I don't read 'em now because I don't want anything given away to me. I think the show is more well written so I want to get all the major plot stuff from there, not the books.

hey, everyone who's got one will experience the inevitable fiery circle of doom. 360's are pieces of shit construction-wise. It's amazing they don't break more easily. They hold the DVD drive in place with glue... let me repeat that, they hold the DVD drive (the heat producing mechanism) of the device on with GLUE. Shockingly, that leads to the system breaking.

I have a buddy who fixes them for the five bucks it takes him to buy a couple screws and the metal rods to hold the driver in place. But with the warranty they give you, you might as well help Microsoft artificially inflate their sales numbers and get a new one.
