ok, so this may not be the update i was intending to do, but I just wanted to say that my hometown, Lufkin was hit pretty hard by Ike. My friends and family are ok, but the past couple of days, not knowing how my family was going to be, was pretty crazy.

I have friends and family all over Texas, and so far, the worst is a couple of trees down in the yard, no power, and roof damage. I feel very lucky that they are ok. I just feel really crappy because I cant DO anything.

Now, I hope everyone that was in the path of Ike is ok. My heart and prayers are with everyone affected.
