Ok, its official.
I give up! I've been friends with Steve since I was 1 year old, and he was 6 months old. We've had fights and arguements and I've lived through his bull-headedness and tried not to let it affect me, but enough is enough!
I tried not to let his comments affect me when I cancelled a game to go meet Stinky awhile ago. He tried to make it sound unimportant, and that I should not have cancelled it to meet someone who was in town such a short time, and that the game was more important.
I tried not to let his comments about Benni affect me.
Steve has a part time job selling Citibank/Travellers debt counseling products. I tried not to get upset that he would try to sell to new gamers that came to the table.
I tried to get him to believe that gaming should be fun, and to not be so harsh on players.
But I'm fed up! He and I argued about all of the above last week, and the best he could do was to try to insult my intelligence.
He is not my friend anymore. Now the only friends I have, I have known less than 3 years, and most are more aquaintances than that.
I can only wonder what his reaction will be when I don't take his calls anymore, and he has to find out from a third party that I'm no longer speaking to him (he doesn't know yet).
