Ive got two presentations for my music class coming up. One is on Frank Zappa, the other is on Nine Inch Nails. The combined length is 32 minutes, 16 on each. The plan is to talk about the artist for eight minutes, then play some of their music for the other eight minutes. The problem is I dont know what songs I should play for each of those two.

Anybody have any ideas?

Hell you couldn't fit the width and breadth of anybody's work into 16 minutes.. it's too short. Why don't you try focusing on a specific part of his work and how it was important? His use of cut-up techniques in music or his revolutionary incorporation of the synclavier or the wah-wah pedal would be good examples. (Hendrix said that Zappa was the first to use the wah-wah and showed it to him)

Good luck with those ideas.
