I got threw most of 28 Days Later, but I had to go to class before it finished. Class consists of watching Ed Sullivan re-runs. But, as a change of pace we watched Ed Sullivan AND Elvis live from Hawaii. Somehow, I couldnt get back into the Zombie movie mood.

I am currently convinced that Ed Sullivan was a walking talking caricature of himself.

Equilibrium was pretty bad-ass. I don't know if it's better than the Matrix, though. Basically, it comes down to this: If you like one, you'll probably like the other. Stylistically, they're very similar (very black-and-white, with lots of kung-fu and gunfights). Plotwise, they're both ripping off of science fiction, although Matrix is ripping off cyberpunk in general, and Equilibrium is more of a Ray Bradbury knock-off.

I'd take the chick from Equilibrium over Trinity, though. There's your tie-breaker.
