Grrrr Cable modem is acting up.
I have most of a week to kill before my summer classes start. So I have been looking for things to occupy my time. To that end, one of my best friends is sleeping on my couch, for a few days. He doesnt live nearby so I dont get to see him often. Hanging out will be neat.
The DND game I play in ran Saturday night, (how typical, people are going out for prom, I am at home playing Dungeons and Dragons, its like high school all over again), anyway, we had to quit just when the game was getting good. We tracked the guys who where kidnapping the government officials back to their secret underground hideout. And just as soon as we were about to lay down the law, we have to stop playing because some of the group needs to work the next day. Cest la vie.
After the game some friends and I drove out into the middle of the desert and watched the sun come up. There really are not words. It was just sublime. I will be sad when the entire desert gets bought up and turned into a golf course.

the nerdy kids in my town don't think i'm nerdy enough to learn to play, or something. it makes me sad.
and people who go to the movies at the discount theater suck, no matter the degree of literacy.
