Thanks to eternileexile I was able to continue to be an internet junkie, which is important when you are unemployed.

And I have thyroid cancer again. I am getting one of the nodules out on Wednesday. I have 4 nodules with blood flow to them on the left side and a goiter on my right side. Lets not make a big deal out of this, mmmkay?

I told my friends via text message in a joking way that included the [[its notta tumor]] thing in it. Most got the hint that I didn't want pity or 'oh noes!' but one of my friends freaked the fuck out about how utterly insensitive I can be at times (which is true).

Does she have a point? On top of my own stresses of being an unemployed single mom with cancer, should I also be responsible for bringing this up in a way that will make others who are uncomfortable with the idea feel better? Or should I say fuck it? I'm the one thats dying?

And thats another thing. Why is it when I half jokingly tell people that I am dying, most of them knee-jerk and say "no you are not". Uh, NEWS FLASH. We ALL are. I just may be at a more expedited rate then most.
