Four weeks in CZ can do wonderful things for the psyche, but has a disastrous effect on my already dodgy accent.
So, as I said, back in the UK. I have a job interview on Tuesday. Typically, the day I got back, I had an email from someone in CZ requesting an interview there too.
But no, this one is something a little more exotic, and enough to test the knowledge of the most geographically astute.
In the middle of the south Atlantic, half way between Angola and Brazil, is the tiny little Island of St. Helena.
Saint Helena is one of the most isolated places in the world, located more than 2000 km (1200 mi) from the nearest major landmass. As there is currently no airport on Saint Helena, travel to the island is by ship only. The RMS Saint Helena travels to the UK 5 times per year.
With a population of around 4,300, will they be ready for me?
Only time will tell.
