I actually feel rested this weekend. 
Friday, Anthony put in his 1 week notice... they were lucky to even get that. So my best friend will be leaving the company again. Oh well, I knew it was only temporary. So it will be hell for a while once he's gone because the boss is going to go in total panic mode... and of course it will take her forever to get around to hiring someone new. This is the same sad story every time. She AND the owner only look at the short term of things, never the long term. They are always worried about how we are doing now and not what we could do if what we were doing now was properly prioritized. Yes, I work for idiots.
So... Underground... where to begin. it was great to be back with the old crowd... but there was a new crowd there too... the regulars that normally go to the place Underground was moved to. It will be interesting to see if the two crowds can mesh. The club felt like itself and yet it didn't. I was glad to see that as part of the agreement, our old security guy was brough over to the new place and made in charge of all the others.
I never trusted the security of the Echo... they were always kinda sketchy and pulled a stunt at one New Years Eve party that I won't go into, but let's just say I wouldn't trust them with my friends' safety. But now I know the guy incharge and know he's got my back that will be one worry out of the way. My bartender stopped by too... he said it was to check out the club. I hope that means he's considering on working there. See, another part of the agreement was that the bartender could come work there too. He was a HUGE part of the club from the beginning and it wouldn't feel the same without him. Hell, he was one of the first people I made friends with there. The only change that will take some getting used to is that the Echo is twice the size of the previous location, so it's lost that intimate feeling that the club had. But it was still a good night. I came home way exhausted, but of course I had to go online and chat with someone on the phone for a bit because that's what I do. 
Saturday was a day of the lazys. DVD watching, surfing online, playing in chat here... yes good lazy fun. I tried to play some video games, but I wasn't really feeling it so I took a break from that.
Today, I did plan to do some laundry but I really don't feel like it and I still have clean clothes for a few more days... it can wait till later. I did go see the new Fantastic Four movie. It was pretty much on par with the first one, so if you didn't like it then you might not like this one. I thought it was ok, but I'm an old school comicbook geek.
Ok, I'm off to find other things to busy myself with. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
