So a few months ago I inherited two diamond rings from my great aunt. Dang those shits were flashy, I wore them for about 20 minutes before realizing that I hate stupid diamond rings.
Anyway, my family was cool about having me sell them, as I'd have to get a safe deposit box anyway, and chances are I'm never getting married, and I need money desperately. Grammy's a jeweler, so we went to her nearly lifelong jewelry store client to hock 'em.
If they sell, $10,000 in my pocket. Holy shit. Do you know how much that would help me? I could live in something other than a shoe box, eat something other than ramen and taco bell, pay off my loans, and reprint my portfolio. Plus I could buy a few rounds, and have a nice little safety net while in my crazy young person phase.
I've called a couple times, still no sale. I don't know if I'd have better luck outside of Pasadena or on the internet. There's really nothing I can do but wait though. Bahhhhh.

But yeah, I'd probably put it all into my studio and a nice LCD projector so I could have friends over to play vids on a ridiculously ginormous huge screen.
Or I might buy a car. It's been weird being in Australia without one.
