I am just confused. Some members told me the best way to get known in the community was to post on the boards. Then I was told the way I did it was wrong. I was then told that I should post more blogs so people will get to know me and then I was told I should go post on other peoples blogs first. So WTF? How do I make this work?

It seems as if every attempt I have tried to make to "get out there" has been met with some form of resistence. Sure some of thos instances ewre due ot my own "bravado" if you will but in some cases I was just following what I was told to do.

So would someone be kind enough to tell me how to get into this community everyone keeps talking about? I joined a similar site to this and within mere days I was accepted into their world, btu here it seems like I have not followed the right path. Someone help, I am open to listening and taking advice. Just please don't give me advice that will get me into trouble again.
