here i am


everything is just fine.



it's amusing. there are already so many stories, but something about this city tells me that they're not unusual.

my temporary host is kind enough to allow me the use of his computer.
i have a busy day ahead of me, though i'm shirking some of my responsibility in order to make this more my home, to get a bit organized.

it's very quite beautiful.
new york is a bit more humid than dallas and i don't have the luxury of air conditioning, though i seldom ever used it anyway.
everyone glistens.

today i'll touch people i love.

i'm trying to keep up with a paper journal (thanks renaud) and reading a pretty fun novel (thanks abstract_heart)...
i'll have lunch with a friend, spend time with another friend on my way down, and then meet people for a special event this evening.
and this citrus will not be sousing herself, thankyouverymuch.
