this is gonna be another one.
and then i'm going to be gone for a while...


people arrived today,
they came bearing gifts and i will send thanks for all of the wonderment. i pulled the envelopes off the wall and sat in the living room looking at them and their contents.
i cried.
i've been tearful most of the day.

sometimes i think life would be easier if i were unfeeling...
if i only let the machine take more control, something something something.

mixed emotions all over and i just resolve to be calm for now.
my eyes are dry and burning.
