an entry entirely ice-cream


picking favorites is really very difficult.

and it's strange, because now that i think of it,
my most favorite favorite flavors are pink... and i've only recently acquired a real appreciation of the color, aesthetically speaking.
but (if i have to rate them - sorted in order first by color and then by preference)
there's cherry-vanilla (with real cherries in it, yo),
there's the classic-so-classic homemade strawberry-vanilla
there's the bubble-gum i used to get as a child from the baskin-robbins on frayser and university in hometown.

but i like other flavors that are often green...
like pistacio
and mint-chocolate-chip

last week at beth marie's in denton, i got blueberry and it was delicious.
the cappucino-chip isn't so bad, either.
but the cupcake flavor is just too much.

but yes,
my very best flavors are cherry-vanilla and pistacio.
because they're the best, that's all.

and because i'm too lazy to send notes back (that would equal more clicking and twice as much typing)
i'm dedicating this entry to the sgtx crew that i love, specifically those who demand to know my tasty choices for the frozen dairy/sugar treats, dayglow and renaud



on a less 'ice-cream' note...
this is greatness:
Mister [her man] is the best husband ever. He has been so good to me through this pregnancy thing. Sure, he still leaves stinky clothes laying around and dirty dishes and shit, but that is just his character I guess. He is a dirtbag-by-proxy. Whatever that means. Anyway, he is very sweet to me and rubs my back and whatnot and lets me cry and be a freak and makes me laugh. Like yesterday when he came in from work and I was playing Barry Manilow and he announced in a really loud voice "What stinks? Did someone Manilow in here?"

now THAT's what it's about...
sort-of... that's not ALL it's about, you know.
we're so special, us people.



my mom's landlord is over...
last week bubba had to fix the dishwasher, a hose had been leaking for we don't know how long but since before we moved in...
so now, nathan is replacing the under-sides of the cabinet and the dry wall where the sink is next to the dishwasher... and something about some rusted thing the washer sits on.
he'd turned the water off and i just got home and need to shower...
so i toddled into the kitchen asking about the status of the pipes and he said i can go ahead, we have flow...
and then he says "but i was planning on turning it off again real soon..."
and i replied "yeah? well wait until i have shampoo in my hair, i'll let you know."
and he says "yeah, that's what i was thinking... bang on the wall or something."

i love life.
it's so fun sometimes.
the simple things.

and for all those interested in the citrus cycle,
we officially have menses
hallelujah! - may the rollercoaster be still for a few days.
