Last night, what was supposed to be a few drinks with friends turned into a party till dawn, if four people a party makes, anyway. Now that's a college experience; perhaps if there'd been more of that over the years I wouldn't have hated the whole thing so much. Let that be a lesson, I guess. You always pay in spades for your isolationist ways.

But a more important lesson: never take yourself too damn seriously.

She's supposed to come over tonight. It's been almost two weeks since I've seen her, so that's going to be weird, even awkward, since I really haven't the slightest notion of how to act around her anymore. I know how I want things to be.
