Is anyone else a fan of The Shining?

Yeah, well, I didn't ever think it would actually HAPPEN to me, but that was before moving into a motel in the Adirondacks. It's so boring, and the weather is so grey, and there are beautiful mountains in the near distance but I can't go play in them because I'm the only one running this place. Television sucks. The customers are lame. Even the local college kids, who are usually America's last bastion of rationale and fun, are pretty goddamn lame in this town.

Oh do I ever wish I was still in Alaska...

I'll probably be posting a whole lot on this site, man, because it's the closest thing to a cool community that's within arm's reach of me right now.

And now I've got that off my chest, whosoever reads this journal entry of mine is probably about as bored and stir crazy as I am. GO OUTSIDE!
