Well, just as an update for those who care. 
finally got a some appreciation at work that i deserved...and a promotion! yay!
and hope to have the motorcycle up and running tomorrow! yay!

The whole reason I've been doing this (dying my hair- getting piercings) is because my job changed their dresscode! So now visible piercings, tattoos and crazy hair is ok!
