So much better day! I read a bit (bad play, but mildly entertaining), wrote a bit, ate a bit.
Went to the "office" party, as opposed to the earlier "company" party. Actually got a holiday bonus! What the hell??? This is the first one I have ever received.
Q: What to do with $100? I live quite simply and rarely buy things (except this SG membership, etc.) Anything you have purchased that made your life much better?
Also, there were two huge baskets of food sent to our office from one of the big guys. Thanks, DLS.
Q2: What do you do when you are actually happy with your life?
I have been fulfilling my dreams for a few years now, and have not had any major problems. I feel that I have been coasting on a high for so long that even my most weary days are fulfilling. I feel I have taken control of my life by leading it the way I want. While I still want changes (a relationship, a family, a home, always striving for a better tomorrow personally and professionally..), I can steer them and do not suffer the time and effort they take to achieve.
Am I setting up for a fall? Is there something else I should attend to? If so, what?

A2: Be very content and not complain. I spend as much time with friends as possible, something that I often don't get to do because of how busy I am.
I don't think you're setting yourself up for a fall. I think we lead much happier lives when we're working toward something good and maybe better. You can't live thinking that some day a tragedy will befall you. Some day it WILL come and there's no sense in spending time waiting for it.
