The first weekend home after a kickass and much needed vacation (in Boston MA), I come home to two paychecks (which made back about 2/3 of all the money I spent on the trip ), and a Bachelor/Bachelorette party on Saturday (good food and much drinks, and lots of agressive air hockey and foozball)...

matrix reloaded wasn't bad... it was just the middle movie in a trilogy that had to be done in order to help everyone make more since of everythiing. i think that's why they are releasing the 3rd movie so quickly... they knew reloaded wouldn't go over terrific, but it had to be done.

Believe me, I used to be an action figure dude, I have every Mcfarlane Dark Ages figure, and yes, I took them out of the box! (HISSSS) ut I enjoy them.......to a point. I don't do it anymore, neither do I go out as much at least to clubs and money grubbing events. I go to gallery shows and dinner wiht freidns sure, but not dinero stuff. Now I might go to San Fran to visit a firend of mine and it slooks good ihave money for the plane ticket and for shit over there. So it's not that you spend but what you spend on. The reason I don't bag on the director is because I'm almost dead certain that he won't be working much longer. I'd never heard of him before Daredevil, but I vaguely remember hearing that this was his first stint at a major motion picture. (Although, I may be wrong.) He was shooting another movie while promoting DD, but I'm fairly confident he's incapable of anything better than a "Biodome."

Oh, I almost forgot: Marvel also released a TON of "The Essential..." books for almost every book ever. And they, too, contain reprints of early issues. Only these ones have about 20-25 issues (each only varies) and cost about $15. The only downside is that it's all in black and white. Which isn't so bad, if you're reading for the stories. But the art suffers a little.
My favorite is the Essential Dr. Strange. It contains the first 56 issues of Strange Tales that Dr. Strange appeared in. GREAT story.
