I really like someone. They are nice, beautiful, intoxicating, and they take massive amounts of pills. I sometimes forget that there are things in my world that make me step outside of myself: film scores by Glass & Mothersbaugh, moments where my mom ceases to be my mom and becomes a goddess, walking in the rain to friend's house for a cup of coffee and a kind word of advice, and her comfort and refuge.
She walks down twenty-thousand steps to have a smoke with me. Several times a night. I have a huge urge to bundle her up in a faux-down blanket, put a heating pad on her cramping stomach, and forget that I want to go far, far away.
Yeah. I wish sometimes that I would forget that.

PS: No stories tonight. I am too damned tired and i'm on dial-up till tomorrow. I will try working double time tomorrow to make up for it.
