How do you argue with someone you are with? Do you structure your arguments? Are you logical? Are you emotional? Do you get pissed when your partner argues against the better angels of your character?

anyway, exactly what kind of class do you teach wherein something like "the Scar" would be assigned? Having just finished it, I am quite curious.

I've actually caught my self saying, "Godspit", or "by Jabber"...
Just thinking about sacred and profane...or at least profanity.
I would love to sit in a class and hear people discuss the book. from what angle do you approach it in terms of fobidden knowledge?
All I can say is that is good, really fucking good, and talk about all the parts I liked, but how to take it apart and analyze it in those parameters...hmm.
I really enjoyed the fact that Bellis doesn't want to leave NC, and I was pretty much in the same boat, so to speak. I didn't want to leave the last book or the last characters and so to have him wrench her away was also taking into account the way I felt.
I did lurrve Armada though, absolutely. And was really interested in the half underwater Cray city. salkrikaltor or something....
I think about the classes that I work for, modeling, like the character design stuff I if I was a student I would have a field day just trying to draw the many creatures of his books....it would be great. Alas I am not an artist.
Have you assigned it before for your class? what are the kids opinions? What Graphic Novels are you reading?
What kinda dept is this anyway?!
It sounds very intriguing. I am way out of college, but sometimes I miss it.
