Somewhere in the front of the footlights
I'm looking for a good place to sit
All my lines get so complicated
That I take a fall into the orchestra pit

Samson suffered the same fate
Powerless and losing his haird
Somewhere in the wings there's a sensible whisper:
When the hero dies, does the audience care?

All the sneaky things we could do in the...

"I kind of met this boy"

One of the worst sentences ever.
But I can think of a worse one.

I would like to think that the times we shared and the words we spoke floated out the open window in the moments when we were tired and sweaty, drifting along the buildings where we slept and, like residue of evaporated water, became clear thoughts in the stratosphere.

Perhaps they attached themselves to oxygen isotopes and fixed the ozone layer. Maybe a young woman sleeping...

So, imagine at some point in the day that you feel at your most vulnerable. The demons are outside, knocking at your door wanting to set up shop in your mind. You know that the cause is out in the world, hovering just beyond your grasp. Milton says the real hell isnt a lake of fire or brimstone or a devil poking you with a...

O Western wind, when wilt thou blow

That the small rain down can rain?

Christ, that my love were in my arms,

And I in my bed again! - -

I will be accompanied by Mr. Cheaterson on the piano, so would everyone please rise for the presentation of our national colors by countering KatieJane's assertion that "fat bottomed girls make the [rockin'] world go 'round.":

Flash - Ah - Saviour of the universe
Flash - Ah - He'll save ev'ry one of us
(ha ha ha)

Flash - Ah - He's a miracle...

my friend KatieJane is hanging out. She's letting her new 20in flat panel apple monitor spend the night. It's nice. I must have one.

Howdy, Christopher... thanks for publishing my news piece. But I should point out that the second link to Reason's web site, embedded in the words "updated his article later today" doesn't actually link to the update that I mentioned -- it just links back to the original article. The update can be found here: http://www.reason.com/hitandrun/006260.shtml

So if I had my druthers, I'd change that link to point to the update...

Thanks again!

and took good care of it.

What do you do to "get out of the house", as in "Jesus Christ, you've moped around your house for the last month and half. You need to get out of the house"?

I can't think of a time where it was really hard for me to leave my house. I always have to be doing SOMETHING, so sticking around is out of the picture. I get restless way way too easy.

Although, I am kind of depressed right now because I have to have surgery. It is pretty invasive. I will have to stay in the hospital for a week and I'll be bed ridden for almost two months. I think that might kill my spirit temporarily and then I will be able to better answer your question...

I go to the park. Or the gym. Or the bar. Very rarely, I'll drag my ass downtown and remember that I live in a pretty cool city.

I never really understood the meaning of "haunted". Now I do.

Local sources say that the unmarked car drove through window of the diner at a speed that indicated that the driver intentionally wanted to maim the patrons. In addition, the only survivors were the cook, a resident above the diner, and one of the patrons. The patron, found lost and confused outside, kept repeating the phrase, "I wish that they would have warned me it...
