I moved from TX to CA when I was five, but that was easy, because I was five. Then for college I moved to the bay area, but that was easy because I moved right into a dorm with many other people who were in a situation just like mine. Now, in a few weeks, I am going to move over 500 miles away from everything I know... And I know I'll be fine, but I'm just so nervous. I'm not like some of you, who flit from place to place with nary a care. So please, tell me stories about you moving far away that have a happy ending.
Oh yes, and I do need housewarming stuff. Pretty please? 'Tis the season, and I'm broke as a joke.

My best friend moved w/ her mom down to the dominican republic when she was 15. She hated it @ first and didn't know spanish that well. (to make a long story short) she ended up meeting a lot of really cool people and now she is married to a boy from the D.R.
So good things can definetly happen from moving-even when you don't know a single soul there.
