Chloe's Hectic World Of Moving
* Waiting for my deposit check from the old place. Hmmmm..... Still waiting.
* Realized the other day that I don't even live in the same COUNTY any more! This upset me for some reason.
* Still returning to my old haunts 25 min away until I figure out what's around here.
* Got lost on the way home from Taco Bell yesterday.
* Stupid Safeway here closes at midnight. My old Safeway stayed open 24 hours!!
* View from my window and my backyard fucking amazing. Hills and moon.
* Can see sunset from front yard. Also, grassy park in walking distance and a perfect street in which to play nerf football.
* Still have HUGE piles of shit to put away in my room. It's only covering half my floor though, so I have room to walk. I have just been picking through the piles for stuff I need and this system is working surprisingly well.
* The size of our trash can is RIDICULOUS. Does the city really think we can generate so little trash in a week's time? Last night my roommate and I ran giggling down the street stuffing our excess trash in unsuspecting neighbor's cans. We were the Trash Bandits and I don't think it will be the last time!
* All in all, adjusting to the move nicely, with small glitches along the way.

When I lived in Seattle, I rented a house in '96, and we were given one pitiful trash can (and all excess came out of our pocket). Fortunately there was a huge apartment complex across the street, and we used to do "midnight runs."
