The cat now has food, for all of you animal-rights activists who were concerned. I know someone who is asking their roommates if they can take her home, so I might be minus one very frustrating cat soon. Probably not, but I can always hope.

I always used to think that Christmas shopping was easy. This year I have a few people on my list that I am absolutely clueless about. One of them is my brother, which is weird because I always know what to get him and it's always something he really loves. This year- nada. I find that every year that passes brings me further away from feeling like it's Christmas. I still love the holidays but I get less and less excited every year. I guess this year I have a reason to feel less excited. I can't hang both stockings if I'm the only one living here.
