Just got back from volunteering at the homeless shelter, or as I like to call it "hangin' with the homlies." Much fun, they're pretty cool guys there. Not much going on, I've been kinda bummin' around all day. Today has been... lackadaisical. I read a play just now, that was good. I have gotten about 10 of 10,000,000 pages read of this book I'm supposed to have done by the time I get back... I am so braindead right now. Bleh.

I am doing remarkably well considering that yesterday morning I had small bits of my skull extracted through my oral cavity. By which I mean I got my wisdom teeth out.

I'm not in too much pain, but I still think I got gypped on the percosets. 800 mg of ibuprofin my ass.

Today I went and got the first, but certainly not the last, hole punched in my head. I got a ring in my cartilage. I am well pleased. I also saw Phantom of the Opera, which kicked hella ass. I wept with joy. In... a very... masculine way.null

Wheeeeeee I'm home. Finally. After having to wait 23 hours and spend the night in fucking White Plains to get out of New York.

Anywhoo, hung out with Starryeyed and Artenysis on the 22nd. As it turns out, they're pretty cool. So that's good. ANd tonight I see my friends at home! Whee!

I just discovered a lovely drag restaurants mere blocks from my place of residence called "Lips." I am highly amused.

...and then there was one. My last roommate is moving out even as I type in this journal.

Anywhoo, today should be relatively uneventful. More Christmas shopping, and I'll probably hang out with my hippy friend Eliza, whom I love dearly. We will, of course, see.
