It's True!!! I can't believe it, but it is! I saw one with my own eyes today, they've reached Oshawa. At first I just thought it was stupid stories coming out of Toronto. I mean, the dead walking! I've seen the movies, read the books, even come up with numerous contingency plans, In all honestly I think I may be one of the most prepared out of the people I know. But ZOMBIES, real ZOMBIES, I never thought I'd see the day. Still no official word from the government, I think they're still trying to deny it. There's some bullshit stories about some new biological weapon "the Terrorists" - that catch all, invisible bad guy - have developed and started using on North American Cities, but that's just shit. No one can deny what's happening now... The Dead Walk The Earth. I'm still having a hard time believing it myself. It's kinda hard to cope. It's still not looking too serious yet, the government may yet bring this under control, but they can't stop people from dying. At least it seems it's only the newly dead returning and not the countless dead buried in the graveyards, and who knows where else. No matter what the government says, though, I'm doing this my way. I have some friends in Toronto that are coming to Oshawa, they should be here soon. We've all agreed that getting out of the major population centres is the best plan. I managed to get to the stores before any major panic has set in, to stock up. I've got a large supply of canned goods and basic supplies, a decent set of tools and other potentially useful items, and a decent weapons cache. It's not extensive, and mostly hand-to-hand weapons, a wakizashi and katana, a couple other swords, a few axes(mostly smaller hatchets, but they'll do until I can find better), and the usual baseballs bats and shovels around the house. Thank god Danger is a bit of a weapons enthusiast. Rhymes old man is OPP so he said he could get us a few guns and some ammo, but we'll need to find more soon in case this gets out of hand. Looks like the kids made it from T.O. I'll keep updating as long as I can get a wireless signal and keep the laptop charged. Good luck to anyone out there reading this. Lets hope this outbreak can be contained before it gets really bad, but just in case, I'd get as prepared as possible and expect the worst. And if this turns out to be my last post... To my family and friends: I Love You, and to everyone else: Keep hope alive, there's always a chance for survival.
