I guess I decided a long time ago that I'm a loner. But, I'm not a loner out of choice.
It's true that I dislike 99% of the world's population. It's also true that 1% of the world's population is a hell of a lot of people. Therefore you'd think that I'd actually want to spend time with those people. Well, I do. The thing is, those people rarely seem to want to spend time with me.
Bare with me; I'm not on a trip of self pity, just self contemplation.
In the real world (as it were) I know very few people. I'm hardly ever in situations where I can meet new people and make new friends. This is mainly because there really isn't much to do for your average alternative kiddo here. I guess that's why I always talk about disliking where I live.
Where I live generally isn't the problem. In fact, I adore the area; it's beautiful. It's all sandy beaches and hills and lovely welsh countryside. What makes this place stink is the people who live here. The town is quite run down and dirty and it's all because of the people. I know you probably don't believe me - and I don't blame you. But if you were to visit me and spend some time here you would agree; these people really are the scum of the earth.
Yet, I know there are like minded individuals and some damn cool peeps hiding in the cracks and crevices of this town because I've seen them. Occasionally (rarely in fact) I'll see a gem of a person in the street, yet how could one just walk up to said person and say hello? To some of you that may seem weird, but whatever.
I also have met some adorable people through other bands in the area. Yet, I am too shy and socially inept to ask for these people's contact details in order to keep in touch.
So how do I solve my problem of being a loner? I can't go on a hunt for these hiding gems, but I can't sit and wait either. Being a loner is...
well;
lonely.

much love.
always.
even when it's Devils/Avs.
and yes, too many goons. Though I must say of the Avs players I've met, the nicest so far was the goon. Although I think I scared Tanguay.
