GODDAMNIT. I just wrote a journal entry and it got lost
'twas a good one too! ::sigh::
It really bugs me when that happens because I try to re-write it but it's never the same. It's time like these when I wish my special power was to have a photographic memory. Can't have it all though, I guess.
So a quick roundup of events instead:
+ Another rockin' gig went by on Saturday
The venue was pretty small in a quaint little village. This did however mean that the place was packed and we had people practically touching noses with us on stage. Of course they all stood there like stiff boards not even bopping up + down to our beats. Losers.
I think the general consesus was that people liked us. Possibly.
+ I got to meet Mr. NickySonic + Mr. Badmood
Lovely gentlemen. And hopefully we'll get to play a gig with their band (Babyfood) and Nic's band (The Dandelions) soon.
+The Drive to Midsomer Norton was pleasant
Even if we did get lost on the way. I love that area of the UK, it's briming with ye olde cultureee. It's not the most advanced or modern place on earth, but that's why I like it. It reminds me of being on holiday as a child - all country roads and fields and beaches and sun. 'Twas a lovelly summers day also. Oooo Arrrrghh
(Ooops I seem to have picked up a little pirate while being down there).
It seemed we managed to bump into Midsomer Norton on the way to being lost. So we didn't stay lost for terribly long.
+ Online Photography portfolio on it's way
I'm working on it now, for some of you who wanted to see my work. But other (higher) responsibilities are nagging right now. Patience is a virtue, n' all.
+ Soon there'll be new mp3 updates on the website
That's right! Soon you'll be able to hear some previews of our album material so you can start saving up for it's release in the next couple of weeks
+ I haven't brushed my hair in a week
This may not sound particularly interesting to some of you. But it's gone all curly and luscious as a result. See picture below. (Beware! No make up
)
Clickity Click.
+ The band had a write up in a newspaper
Doesn't sound like much, but we did get called a 'cerebral challenge'. This was most satisfying because it's always been my aim to make people think and not be straight forward rock. I think we're getting it...
That's all folks.
