So, I'm thinking of going back to school. Back to learn.

There's been something missing in my life for the last few years. Today I realised what it is - I crave knowledge; I crave progression. But most of all, I crave focus.

I am going to apply to join a course called 'Photography in the Arts'. Photography is something I've always wanted to 'learn'. And art is something I've always been a part of.

The course revolves equally around the history of photography and the practicalities of it. It looks so exciting, I feel like I am about to burst.

I will finally be given a forum with which to develop a hobby of mine. It will even include optional modules wherin I will be able to chose a course that will focus on Digital Photography and Manipulation. I'll actually be able to expand skills I have picked up on my own.

Well, I will be contacting the college on Monday because officially I have missed the deadline for applications. But because I am 21 and no-longer school-leaving age I may be given special allowances. So I will then find out if I can still apply for the course.

If I can I will most likely have to attend an interview and then present a portfolio of work I have already done - which will be fun to put together

It'll be a lot of work to do this, the band and a part-time job, but it's something I am determined to make a go of.

Today I have something to hope for. Today I have been given something positive to think of. It's been such a long time since I felt this way - I'm so full of energy!
