I often wonder if the secret to unlocking the mind is seeing the subconscious do battle with the cruel world.

Fate.

Do you believe in fate? Is it possible that were all meant to take certain crossroads in our lives? Could there really be pathways already planned and mapped out for us to follow?

Every so often I experience a series of events that are just too well synchronised to be called coincidence. One could argue that if you want something bad enough then would your subconscious plan a way to achieve your goal?

The subconscious mind is an amazing thing. I wouldnt be surprised to find out that my subconscious has been secretly planning my life for me. Does my subconscious mind therefore have the ability to see the future? Or does it just receive all the luck that seems to pass me by?

I would say that my subconscious mind knows me better than anything else in the world. It knows my every thought, movement, passion and distaste. And whats more it knows how to control me.

Is my subconscious secretly working away to achieve my hearts most fierce desires; to arrange the crucial encounters that will ultimately lead me to happiness? To avoid the detestable hurts? To put me back on track when I begin to stray? Is it that we could then say that our subconscious mind is fate?

Its so easy to pass off misfortune as fate: Everything happens for a reason. But does it? I like to tell myself this to stop me going from insane. But is it possible that every time something less than desirable happens to us, it is merely our subconscious mind removing the training wheels?

Could it just be that it decided it is time for our conscious mind to grow up and go it alone? Then as soon as the wheels come away we crash and burn. This is when it remembers;

Fuck. I forgot they had all that other shit to think about.

Is this the reason we not only have a conscious mind, but also a subconscious; so it can hold onto the training wheels for dear life?

I guess you could say there is a lot in the adult world that we have to think about and deal with all at the same time. Its not possible to then plan all the tiny events that will lead us to our hearts desire. Its not possible for us to observe all the intricacies that make it appear as though it were meant to be.

Perhaps this is what makes children such wonderful and fascinating things? As we grow older do our two minds slowly separate from each other to relieve the stress of simple navigation? Can our children observe and control fate in a way we have forgotten exists?

I dont know, and for now Im just grateful that there is something out there planning ahead for me, and steering me in the right direction; to the centre of my heart.

Fate, My Subconscious, God, whoever you are you got it right this time.

Thank You

Girl. Seriously. You gotta stop with these sets. Soon I'll have no option but to morph into Cherryfanaticman. Or at the very least Heavydroolingman. Hmm. Has Marvel or DC done them yet?
