mmm... hungry...
Does anyone have anything to eat? Bagels would be cool.
I'm busy busy with the schooling. Lots of projects to complete. It's fun. I got chemicals in the cuts on my fingers yesterday. It hurt, but I got two good films out of it.
I've more photos to shoot today. It's a pain because I have all these photos to take and it's not even leaving me with any time to shoot a new set. I will this week. Once I find some white fishnet holdups with lace tops? Anyone? They're rarer than golddust, it seems.
Actually, is golddust even that rare?
It's got damn cold this week in Wales. It's nice though - good crisp coldness. The rain hasn't set in (yet).
Bonfire Night soon. I can't wait. My Dad always puts on a big party, and all the family goes. He cooks yummy food like steak and potatoes and baked mushrooms. Yum.
Then we toast marshmallows and set off about a gazzillion fireworks.
The bonfire always burns away half of an apple tree at the bottom of his garden. It's a resistant little tree and grows back every year. Just to be burnt to shit again.
Then my Dad's girlfriend and I drink sparkling wine, like, Asti Martini. We pig out some more.
Dad lights some more fireworks (or my brothers do if he's feeling generous).
Then we all sit around the fire and drink Baileys.
No, we don't sing songs. It's nice. I love my family.
In a way I regret that I didn't see them from the age of 16-18, but then I think I appreciate them more now. I missed a lot of my brothers and sisters growing up (yeah, they grew up a lot in two years). But I'm closer to my Dad now than I could ever hoped to have been.
His girlfriend only being 10 years older means we get on really well, too. She's the best shopping buddy ever.
My Dad was thinking of not putting on his Bonfire Night party because of the recent departure of my Nan. She always came to the party, so it might be a bit tough on him. I think he will though. He says he hates parties, but I know he loves it
Thought I should add another favourite girl to my three. I didn't change it since the new site design (it was the same as when I was a member, with Missy replacing two girls who are now archived). But I decided that perhaps I should partake in the favourite girl thing.
I don't like to play favourites, but, damn. DJD is such a good friend, Missy is nothing but a sweetheart and Nixion is plain yum.
