I love the autumn. In fact, I pretty much love the changing of seasons, but the autumn always feels special to me.
There's nothing like the feel of the crisp air swimming through my brain and biting at my ankles.
Today was a good day, despite the rain. On my way home from work, everything felt so refreshing. Nature surrounded me in death, but it was in no way negative. Death in the autumn is a sign of rest - a promise that the cycle will begin again.
So much happens in the autumn months that I adore! I think I'm the only person who actually likes the dark evenings - where I can wrap up cosy in my favourite satin pyjamas, and hide under the covers, with the occasional toe poking out.
I love the neon shop signs piercing through the crisp darkness.
I love the crunchy leaves in the gutters of the streets.
I love the soggy paths winding through the parks.
I love the empty playgrounds with silhouettes of summer-time fun.
I love the feel of slippers on my feet and a warm mug of tea in my hands.
I love the feel of a big fluffy jumper wrapped around me; the sleeves so long they cover my hands with wool to spare.
I love the excitement, stillness and anticipation of all the autumn celebrations: Halloween, Guy Fawkes, (my birthday), Christmas, and New Year.
It's surely a fun season. And I love being wrapped in comfy clothes, hearing my boots clip on the tarmac, and then curling up in front of a movie with a mug of tea and a big bar of chocolate.

Congrats to colseppe who guessed correctly with Maps by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Today's Edition:
"Take a look to the sky just before you die..."
Psst... incase you forgot, you're supposed to guess which band/artist
And because no one got this one:
"Now you find out that you miss my loving ways. But don't you know..."
Ok, Ok so I cave in (but only because I'm sick of the disappointment ::sniff:: ) - It's "Switched You" by Frank Black. You're all losers. LeHooSeHERR!
Rule: No Googling.

The recording went well on Sunday, lots of fun! We recorded and mixed (etc) 6 songs between the hours of 11am and 7pm! There was lots of screaming involved and I was left with a very sore throat and extremely tired. Somehow I pulled a muscle in my left thigh.

I'm going to be a busy cherry for the next few days, so may not be around to say hello much, but always leave your comments, as you know I love hearing from you...

You don't have to apologize at all. I understand, you get busy, or broke. Most people do. I'm lucky enough to have enough money to blow on foreign food for lunch, but regardless-- thanks. maybe some day I'll visit Wales and... well no, I won't visit Wales. Why the hell would I do that??
