Nah, listening to Hockey on net radio isnt geeky: My 25 year old brother wears the full Liverpool strip whenever he watches a football match, be it at home or in the pub. Ive always found that disturbing and geeky in a bad way rather than good.

Oh you are SO right on the Drury point.
I am going to write in huge letters on my T-shirt "We Want Drury Back!" when I go to the Avs vs. Calgary game next month. 3rd row seats, and I swear I will whooop and holler every time Drury passes by.
Not only is he a great clutch guy, but he played for Boston U when I lived in MA still. I love Chris Drury and spit venom at Derek Morris (even though I'm sure he's a very nice guy) because they gave up Drury for him.
but on the upside, my boy Skoula had two assists tonight. He's gonna rock the defense. I love him. even if they did tie again. bah.

It's hard to remember, it's sort of my own burden to bear in life as well, but you really can only be as much as you are. As much as you want to be able to fix it all for everyone, you never will.
